As you are probably tired of hearing from most bloggers/facebook statuses/twitter newsfeeds, Melbourne has been a non stop parade of rain, cold wind and a random 30 second earthquake (that I hardly noticed tbh) so naturally I have not left the house. Usually I love winter, sitting in a cosy little cafe being rugged up in a gazillion layers, hopefully wearing an outfit similar to the collage above, with multiple excuses within the day to have a hot chocolate, oh and also an excuse to wear the bear-ears beanie or the cute little paw mitten gloves (yes, I am that girl) but these holidays I am just not keen. It's been about a week and a half or two since I officially finished uni, extremely late I know but panel assessment day was so late that it felt like folio and design work and dress making would never ever end (so, very glad that I did) and I have pretty much been locked inside of my room hybernating, catching up on bad tv and avoiding the cold weather since. This also explains for the poorly kept means of this blog, or lack there of. But now that I do have all of this free time, so I am hoping to post more regularly.
The good news is that my absense has left me with lots to catch-up-posts (the only kind I ever seem to have) and the promise of the next few homework free weeks will give me a chance to learn how to use my new overlocker (I am over the moon and already so attached to this beautiful piece of machinery) to work on some own little projects of my own, without having to worry about being graded or assessed or following an assigned theme or colour story, panel assessment still haunts me. I am so excited!
